How organisations absorb shocks and keep deciding well when AI and global volatility are rewriting the economics of an industry, and how the people leading them stay resilient while they do.
Best for executive summits, regulated industries and associations whose members are under pressure. Thirty, forty-five or sixty minutes. Researched for your industry, your audience and your theme.
Every industry in Australia is being tested at once: AI collapsing the cost of work, margins squeezed from both ends, talent that is hard to find and harder to keep. Fragile organisations wait for certainty that never arrives. Resilient ones keep making good decisions while the ground moves.
The same is true of the people at the top. Leaders who protect their judgement, their energy and the psychological safety of their teams keep thinking clearly under pressure. The ones who do not burn out, or burn out the people around them.
Every delegate leaves with one option their organisation does not currently have, the move that turns the next shock from a threat into an advantage.
Each person also leaves with one habit that protects their own judgement and energy, because an organisation is never more resilient than the people running it.
Thirty minutes from a live conference stage. John is a storyteller with a strategist's discipline: every story earns its place by moving the audience towards something they can use on Monday. Engaging enough to hold 2,000 delegates, practical enough for a boardroom.
"John's impact on our top talent masterclass was immediate. His strategic mindset process was practical and memorable, and his thorough research into our organisation ensured the session was highly tailored. A level of engagement that's rare among speakers."

"John has helped hundreds of businesses all over Queensland. If you need a speaker who engages your audience, creates confidence and offers practical action steps for navigating a changing challenging future, I highly recommend John."

Both, and that is the point. The first half is about how an organisation stays able to decide when its industry is being reshaped. The second is about how the leaders inside it stay well enough to lead. Psychosocial safety is treated as a strategic asset, not an HR topic.
Thirty, forty-five or sixty minutes, built to the slot you have. The sixty-minute version adds a short exercise so the audience leaves with their decision written down.
Yes, on occasion. The keynote works best in the room, and most of John's engagements are in person, but a virtual or hybrid version is available when the program calls for it.
Yes. John moderates panels and MCs the sessions adjacent to his keynote or workshop. Tell him the run sheet and he will tell you where he can add the most value.
A screen for his slides and a microphone. John brings his own headset mic to pair with the venue's radio pack; a supplied lapel mic is fine, and a handheld radio mic is a last resort.
Three to twelve months is ideal. Shorter notice is sometimes possible; ask.
John quotes a fixed fee for the keynote once he knows the event, the audience and the format. Travel, transfers and accommodation are billed at cost to the client, ex Brisbane.
A briefing conversation with the organiser or program chair, the conference theme, an audience profile and the run sheet. John researches your industry and audience before he writes a word of the keynote.
